Natalie Schimp, PA

Natalie Schimp, PA-S, is currently completing her Master of Physician Assistant Science at the University of Evansville, where she combines her strong foundation in biochemistry with hands-on clinical experience across a range of specialties. Natalie earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, graduating cum laude from the University of Southern Indiana, and holds a Pre-Medical Sciences Certificate.

Natalie’s training has included rotations in family medicine, behavioral health, endocrinology, general surgery, and women’s health, among others, giving her a broad perspective on patient care across the lifespan. She also brings several years of clinical experience from her work as a patient care technician at Deaconess Health System, where she supported patients in both pre- and post-operative settings and developed a reputation for her attention to detail and patient-first approach.

As a Southwest Indiana AHEC Scholar, Natalie is passionate about serving medically underserved communities and is committed to promoting health equity through community engagement, health screenings, and patient education.

Natalie holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Mental Health First Aid, and Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Administration. With a deep-rooted drive to care for others and a growing expertise in collaborative medicine, she looks forward to making a lasting impact on the lives of her future patients.
