EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The team behind Commonwealth Pain & Spine is proud to announce the opening of the Advanced Surgical Institute (ASI), a new state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center at 6016 E Columbia Street, adjacent to Commonwealth Pain & Spine’s Evansville East clinic on Kimber Lane.
The center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), meaning it has met nationally recognized standards for quality care, patient safety, and ongoing performance improvement.
A sister company to Commonwealth, the center specializes in same-day outpatient procedures and combines advanced surgical techniques with the latest technology in a welcoming, patient-focused environment that prioritizes safety and comfort.

The 10,000-square-foot facility, overseen by Laura Myers, MHA, BSN, RN, CNOR, who will lead day-to-day operations, features two surgical suites designed for efficiency, safety, and patient comfort. This streamlined ASC model reduces wait times, simplifies the surgical process, and allows patients to return home the same day.
