Christopher Anderson, MD, is a highly trained anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician at Commonwealth Pain and Spine in Elizabethtown and Bardstown, Kentucky. He has many years of experience helping patients of all ages eliminate pain.

Dr. Anderson graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. He went on to participate in the Healthcare Systems Leadership Certificate Program. 

He finished medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, and then completed the Leadership Education and Development Program (ECHO) and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Anderson finished up medical training with a fellowship in pain medicine at the same institution. 

Dr. Anderson stays current with the latest advances in anesthesiology and pain medicine, has published research in many well-known medical journals, and maintains his advanced credentials with contributing education. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Anesthesiologists, and American Medical Association. 

In his free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys golfing, dog training, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
