S. Kyle Young, MD

Stephen Kyle Young, MD, specializes in pain management and anesthesiology. He brings extensive knowledge and clinical experience to Commonwealth Pain & Spine, serving patients at the Louisville, Kentucky location.

A compassionate physician dedicated to patient-focused care, Dr. Young values the rewarding long-term relationships he forms with his patients. His goal is to have a positive impact on people’s lives through a personalized, research-based approach to interventional pain management.

Dr. Young graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens. He then went on to earn his doctor of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

During his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky,

Dr. Young was a member of the resident review committee as well as the curriculum committee, and he also served as head of medical student recruitment. Continuing on at the University of Louisville after his residency, Dr. Young next completed a fellowship in pain management.  

Previously, Dr. Young was in private practice in Louisville. He is licensed to practice medicine in both Indiana and Kentucky.
