Brittany Tackett, APRN

Brittany Tackett’s nursing career began with foundational training at the University of Pikeville, where she earned her Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Eastern Kentucky University.

Brittany brings extensive experience across primary care, long-term and skilled nursing facilities, urgent care, addiction recovery, and emergency medicine. She has cared for patients across the lifespan, performing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and treating complex conditions, prescribing medications, and providing both medical and behavioral health support. Her background includes procedural care, chronic disease management, and care coordination for medically complex patients.

Known for her culturally competent and patient-focused approach, Brittany is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, individualized care. She prioritizes clear communication, disease prevention, and whole-person wellness, helping patients feel supported and confident throughout their care journey.
